GE is new, so its stackable machines incorporate all the best features of the other brands like steam, speed cycles, Wi-Fi, and an auto dispenser.
Then they added anti-mold Microban coatings to their gasket and a fan to dry residual water. GE has the largest capacity on this list at 4.8 and 5 cubic feet. However, it has the largest depth as well. It can be an issue in smaller closets.

It's to know what machine to recommend. Whirlpool has had problems shipping laundry during COVID-19.

Best automatic dispenser. Auto dispensers are not gimmicks. They release the right amount of detergent at the right time.
Most people overload the dispenser. That foam will settle inside the machine and corrode the bearings for an expensive repair.

Samsung has good basic cycles like steam and speed. They lack the auto dispenser and Wi-Fi of the Whirlpool and GE.
Samsung is the most promotional, so this model will likely be the least expensive on this list.
Invariable, whenever I mention Samsung for reliability, there will be a legion of people despising the brand.
They are not entirely wrong. Samsung is the single most popular brand, but its logistics have not caught up with the popularity.
You have to inquire about the service before you buy it. Samsung and LG, especially, but many other brands are not that good either.

LG has been one of the most reliable machines since we started these reliability reports years ago. This unit has all the features except the auto dispenser.
Their Turbo wash reduces the wash time in any cycle with six pressurized wash jets. LG is also the shallowest of the major brands. For stacking shallow is an advantage in closets and other tight spaces.

Compact Stackable Washer And Dryers
Best-Selling Compact Washers And Dryers at Yale Appliance in Boston
Compacts fit anywhere due to their size at 24 inches wide and deep. They can fit small closets and in standard kitchen cabinets.
Most compact dryers are purchased as ventless versus vented in full-size. So you can place a compact anywhere with water and electricity.
Compact dryers are only available in electric. You can buy one piece of stacks in gas if necessary.

Samsung has well-vented drying and features steam. It's larger than Beko for better capacity but is deeper. So it may not fit certain applications.

The average for appliances is about 13.4% for one appliance. In most cases, the stackable washers and dryers are less for 2.
However, front load washers are difficult to repair, so inquiring about service first is always a good idea.

His answer: Too much detergent.
I said it once already, and it bears repeating. You only need a capful. Any more will slowly corrode the inside of your washer.

As you start your frustrating search trying to find a stackable washer and dryer, you will be happy with any of these brands.
Compact laundry is a bit different because of its venting requirements.
However, consider the features you need, then buy any of the brands mentioned. Being loyal to a brand will set you up to fail with the shortages currently throughout the country.
Buying features allows you more options for faster delivery.
