Best Shallow/Regular French Door Refrigerators

French doors are side by side refrigerators with bottom freezers. They are convenient with island kitchen installations for easier pass through. Unlike a side by side, you have the full width to fit trays in the refrigerator section. Most clients buy them because of their larger size or cooler appearance.

There are a few notable differences between counter depth and regular depth refrigerators. The sides of a counter depth do not protrude from the cabinet for a more streamlined look in your kitchen.

However, counter depths are more expensive than standard French doors and have less total cubic footage.

As a group, I have seen better prices. Especially around Black Friday. I like the Electrolux 27 cubic foot originally $2,500 now $1,599. There are also decent package opportunities with Electrolux.

20 and 22 cubic foot are the two counter depth sizes with the difference being height. Jenn-Air is a good consideration, because of its price.

The new model has better bins, LED lighting and $1,000 increase in price. This piece is part of our best selling package as well. The Electrolux is a great price for its size.
