The Best Bosch Dishwasher You Should Consider (SHS63VL5UC Video Review)

by Steve Sheinkopf

So, you're buying a dishwasher? You have more choices than ever. In fact, it can be difficult to buy a good dishwasher with decent features and quietness.

There are the inexpensive brands to consider like Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE. They have great features, but most of them have plastic tubs and are noisier.

Then there are the premium dishwashers like Bosch, KitchenAid, and Miele. Each of them has robust quietness factors and features. In years passed, premium dishwashers would cost about $1000.

Despite that, Bosch does have one model with pretty much every feature. It is the Stainless Steel Bosch 300 Series, and depending on the promotions it can be as low as $589 after rebates.

The 5 Best Counter Depth Refrigerators (Reviews/Ratings/Prices)

by Steve Sheinkopf

It is also a benefit to have a shallower refrigerator in a galley kitchen or with an island design. There will be more room between the refrigerator and the island itself.

Simply, counter depths look better. We will look at the different types and then the 7 best to consider.

The Best Luxury Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliance Packages (Reviews/Ratings)

by Steve Sheinkopf

The luxury appliance segment encompasses more appliances yet fewer brands than ever. Your idea of luxury may differ from mine. A built-in kitchen with wall ovens differs from a professional range, so it is difficult to choose just 5 packages.

In the luxury segment, you can expect counter depth, professional or integrated refrigerators, convection ovens, built-ins, induction power or pro gas as well as integrated dishwashers. Brands include Dacor, Sub-Zero/Wolf, Jenn-Air, Bosch, Miele, Gaggenau, and Thermador. Samsung and Electrolux have a few pieces for the luxury segment.

by Steve Sheinkopf

I look at lowering repairs and issues all the time. We manage this very closely. It actually starts in the warehouse where the products need to be handled properly. Then competent delivery and installation crews can also solve quite a few possible issues.

GE Profile vs. Bosch Dishwashers (Reviews / Ratings / Prices)

by Stan Pendrak

You look at higher-end dishwashers, and they all seem the same. They have stainless tubs, more cycles than ever and have decent to unbelievable quietness. In fact, it may be a bummer to replace a dishwasher, but the new ones are much quieter.

It wasn't always this way. Bosch and Miele changed the market in the early 1990s with a better dishwasher. For awhile, they owned the premium dishwashers. American companies like KitchenAid responded with competitive products years later.

Jenn-Air vs. Bosch Stainless Kitchen Appliance Packages (Reviews / Ratings)

by Jeff Tarascio

Years ago, you would have no problem furnishing your kitchen with 4 brands like an Amana refrigerator, KitchenAid dishwasher, Jenn-Air stove and a Sharp microwave. Kitchen packages became popular over the years because manufacturers began increasing rebates for multiple purchases.

Buying a kitchen package from the same brand can save money. You also have the same look throughout your kitchen. It looks better than different handles and shades of stainless of different brands.
