Best French Door Counter/Regular Depth Refrigerators (Reviews/Ratings)

French doors are side by side refrigerators with bottom freezers. They are convenient with island kitchen installations for easier pass through. Unlike a side by side, you have full width to fit trays in the refrigerator section. Most clients buy them because of their larger size or cooler appearance.

There are a few notable differences between difference between counter depth and regular depth refrigerators. The sides of a counter depth do not protrude from the cabinet for a more streamlined look in your kitchen.

However, counter depths are more expensive than standard french doors and have less total cubic footage.

Amana is really interesting at $1199.  This is a 25 cubic foot refrigerator with internal icemaker and water dispenser for almost half the money of the others.  Bosch is interesting in kitchen packages

Whirlpool dominates this niche as well with their Jenn-Air and KitchenAid labels. Jenn-Air especially deserves consideration for their further package rebates. French doors are way cheaper at 20 cubic foot than 22 cubic foot by over $1200. Read the difference in this article.
