The new Beko DDT39434XIH dishwasher with CornerIntense will revolutionize dishwashing or, so Beko says in their specifications.
Priced at $999, this dishwasher offers an interesting range of washing, drying, and quietness features.
But is it worth buying?
In this article, we will compare Beko against KitchenAid, GE Profile, LG, and Bosch dishwashers.
Let's get started.

Beko is a Turkish brand. Surprisingly, several companies manufacture appliances in Turkey, including Thermador and Gaggenau, among others.
You might not be familiar with Beko, but they are widely sold in 140 companies and have gained popularity, especially in Europe.
In the US, they are also sold under the name Blomberg and manufacture the Viking dishwasher.
Beko offers 12 cycles and ten functions to wash various types of dishes. With its Wi-Fi functionality, you can remotely turn the dishwasher on or off, check the remaining time in the cycle, and receive notifications when the cycle is complete.
Remarkably quiet at only 39 dB, Beko surpasses the standard quietness level of 44 dB. Even if you're working in your kitchen while the dishwasher is running, you won't be bothered.
Only the KitchenAid 200 series offers a similar level of quietness below $1000.
Most dishwashers in this price range provide an ample number of cycles, and a few also offer smart features.
The racking system in the Beko dishwasher is similar to a Bosch dishwasher, featuring a third rack at the top with two sprayer arms. However, Beko introduces a new system called "CornerIntense."
Unlike other dishwashers that rotate on a fixed axis, Beko operates on a movable axis, resulting in a square pattern of water spray. This design choice aligns with the dishwasher's square shape.
While LG uses oblong-shaped arms and Samsung incorporates its Waterwall technology that washes back and forth, the Beko system stands out with its unique approach.
Beko also includes the "AquaFlex" cycle, which diverts more water pressure to the bottom of the dishwasher to thoroughly clean heavily baked-on dishes.
The Beko dishwasher offers a convenient DeepWash feature.
It includes three dedicated power washes that effectively remove residue from the bottom of sports bottles, baby bottles, and pans up to 12 inches deep.
Many brands have improved their drying capabilities in recent years, utilizing techniques such as fans and intakes for air circulation (as seen in Miele and KitchenAid dishwashers).
GE Profile, on the other hand, employs a fan to extract moisture, while Bosch uses volcanic elements in their CrystalDry dishwashers for drying purposes.
However, most dishwashers still rely on the "condensation dry" method, which utilizes the heat from the wash, combined with Jet Dry and time.
Plastics don't dry as well in this process compared to denser items like plates.
Both Beko and Bosch have upgraded their drying mechanisms.
Beko's "SelfDry" feature automatically opens the dishwasher at the end of the cycle, allowing the moist, steamier air to escape.
This feature can also be found in Bosch 500 series and Miele dishwashers. By releasing the steam, the drying process becomes more efficient, preventing recondensation on the dishes.
Beko appliances typically come equipped with an ion generator to reduce odors. By emitting negatively charged ions, the appliance neutralizes positively charged ions present in odors.
Another convenient feature is the "EverClean" function, which automatically rinses the filters with pressurized water. This feature reduces the frequency of manual filter cleaning, distinguishing Beko from other European dishwashers such as Bosch and Miele.
European brands like Beko are designed to seamlessly integrate into your cabinet, creating a sleek and cohesive look. In contrast, American brands often have a protruding dishwasher with a cabinet attached to the front.
The Beko DDT39434XIH dishwasher is definitely worth considering. Its CornerIntense wash system sets it apart from others, although most dishwashers perform well in cleaning dishes.
However, the other features it offers, such as improved drying capabilities and the ability to wash sports bottles, make it an attractive choice.
Additionally, the dishwasher's smart functionality is particularly useful due to its quiet operation. You won't mistakenly open it while it's still running, assuming the cycle has ended.
For dishwashers under $1,000, Beko should be a top consideration, alongside other reputable brands like LG, Bosch, and Profile.
