yale appliance is hiring

We are having a job fair on July 22 from 10 AM to 12 PM and 4 PM to 6 PM.

In this article, you will learn why you should apply and build your career with Yale. You will also learn the two skills you need to work at Yale or anywhere else.

Then if you are interested or know someone who might need a career change, perhaps you will consider us.

Why You Should Join the Yale Team

Home improvement has boomed in the last 18 months as most people had to stay home.

Then again, every business is advertising for help. Why are we any different?

We believe good people deserve a living wage, benefits, a 401(k) match, and profit-sharing.

Most retailers have lost tons of jobs because of the current low pay, impossible hours, and no benefits.

It's not an option if you want to support yourself in this economy. For a family, it's the road to ruin. We understand this.

Yale Compensation

So, how are we different?

  1. We offer highly competitive wages.
  2. We offer comprehensive dental and medical benefits. Our share is about $15,000+ per family.
  3. We match up to 4% for your 401(k).
  4. You can receive a quarterly NPS (Net Promoter Score) Bonus based on customer satisfaction. Last year's payout was $775,000 for 200 people.
  5. With profit-sharing, we have paid out over 5 million since its inception.

We also work hard at maintaining a positive work environment from personal time off to team building.

Every year we coordinate team-building competitions, group volunteer days, and company-wide events for our team and their family members.

Training and Personal Development

We invest in training you. We will hire you for your excellent attitude and work ethic and teach you the rest.

Skill development and attitude are all you ever need in a job.

Our head trainer started at Cumberland Farms and Gillette. If you are good with your hands, our technician trainer has 20 years of experience. You will learn how to service and install appliances in our training center with live hookups and real products.

We will teach you all our processes from our former customer service head with 18 years of experience.

Growth

We believe in internal hiring and helping you advance your career with us.

I have been at Yale the longest, at 35 years, but only by a week.

Our Head of Builder Sales started 35 years ago, a week more than I, and hung light fixtures in our first showroom.

Our Marketing Director (who proofread this) started 21 years ago also hanging lights. So did three of our other salespeople. Our Head of Service started as a service technician. Head of Customer Service began as a Customer Service Agent.

Our Vice President of Operations started in IT 16 years ago. Our Vice President of Sales started in sales 20 years ago.

Our Lead Service Technicians started as Technicians. Our managers all started in their respective departments. Most of our part-time interns and showroom greeters have found permanent jobs at Yale after graduation.

All the departments, service, customer service, install, sales, and warehouse have hired employees from within. Only our Human Resources team was hired from the outside.

Forty people have been at Yale for at least 15 years or about 20% of the company. Our average tenure is at least six years.

That's not bad when you consider the growth of our company of three showrooms and multiple warehouses in the last five years.

We consider it our obligation to teach, train, and move your career forward in your department or another.

What We Are Not Looking For

We can teach you almost anything to have a successful career at Yale Appliance. However, we can't teach a good attitude. You must be kind and respectful to your team, other staff, and customers.

Bad attitudes just bring everyone down.

Join Us at the Yale Appliance Job Fair

If you or someone you know is looking for an excellent job with good compensation, excellent benefits, 401(k), profit-sharing, and bonus opportunities, then come to our job fair.

The job fair is Thursday, July 22, from 10 AM - 12 PM and 4 PM - 6 PM at 12 Campanelli Pkwy, Stoughton, MA.

You can view current job openings here.

You can also email our recruiter with your resume, cover letter, and the position you're applying to at recruiter@yaleappliance.com.

We look forward to meeting you!

Why Should You Trust Us?

It seems that every appliance review has nothing but glowing comments about almost every product, yet you read customer reviews and they are almost universally bad.

We are here to fill in the disconnect. We'll give you the best features, and the drawbacks as well, including reliability based on over 37,000 calls performed by our service team just last year. Our goal is to give you ALL the information so you know what's right for you.

Please consider subscribing or adding to the conversation in the comments below. We appreciate you stopping by.
