Hyannis is the ideal location for our newest showroom, and we’re excited to welcome you when we officially open our doors on January 27th.
Why Hyannis?
The first time I visited the Cape was in 1986, while I was starting at Yale. I was delivering a hood to a builder in New Seabury.
I remember marveling at the beauty of the homes and developments, especially the Widow’s Walk and Cupola overlooking the bay.
My 22-year-old self dreamed of a day when we could work consistently on projects like these.
In 2015, I considered expanding to the Cape after the success of our Framingham location.
My dad’s advice put things into perspective: “The Cape is seasonal. What do you know about running a seasonal store?”
At the time, I decided to hold off and focus on more familiar markets.
Fast forward to the pandemic, and everything changed.
With remote work becoming the norm, many of our customers moved to the Cape full-time.
The Cape, if it ever was seasonal, is a thriving year-round community.
With that, everything came together at just the right time for this project.
It turns out we have three longstanding Yale salespeople who live on the Cape, plus several service technicians and installers.
It just made sense to open a store where we already had built many relationships.
We’ve chosen a location near the center of Hyannis that’s sized to showcase our carefully curated selection of appliances in a welcoming, boutique-style setting.
This showroom is also designed with builders, architects, and designers in mind, focusing on displaying our bestselling, least-serviced appliances.
