The Four Best French Door Refrigerators

October 31st, 2011 | 1 min. read

French door refrigerators have side by side tops and freezer drawers. French doors have become popular in island kitchens as there is not a large door to circumnavigate. They are also a newer, cooler and more unique style.

A french door also has a side by side refrigerator top and freezer below, so there is more refrigerator cubic footage than the other premium refrigerator configuration, the side by side

I do not normally write about refrigerators when the temperature drops below freezing. However, there are a ton of rebates on some decent french door refrigerators.

The Four Best French Door Refrigerators (prices without the energy rebate):

Jenn-Air JFC2089WEM $1549 after $450 in rebates: Jenn-Air is a counter depth french door with internal water dispenser. It is also nicely styled with further rebates if purchased in a package.

Frigidaire FGHN2844LF $1449 after $250 in rebates: I remember when 23 cubic foot was considered a large refrigerator. The Frigidaire is 28 cubic feet. This french door is another great value from Frigidaire.

LG LFX25976ST $1849 after $350 in rebates: LG has always manufactured an attractive refrigerator. This french door is 25 cubic feet with outside dispenser.

Bosch B26FT70SNS $2449 after $150 in rebates: Bosch is still expensive even for a very good refrigerator. Buy it in a Bosch package for looks and further rebates.

Remember, rebates are time sensitive, so prices do frequently change. You can also qualify for an additional $150 rebate from the state before November 7.
