Luxury Brand Summit 2023

Written by Steve Sheinkopf | Feb 16, 2023 9:32:48 PM

Kitchen appliances are evolving faster than ever since I started at Yale 37 years ago.

We recently hosted a live webinar where we assembled the best minds in the appliance industry to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in the luxury brand space.

They are:

Jan Heck, President & CEO of Miele USA

Jan has been behind the successful restructuring for Miele in both the US and Canada.

Miele is the largest family-owned premium appliance manufacturer in the world.

They have launched several revolutionary products in the last few years in dishwashers, laundry, and cooking, emphasizing smart technology and sustainability.

Eliza Sheffield, CEO of BlueStar

Eliza has led the renaissance of the industry's hottest brand.

BlueStar has introduced its new dual fuel range this year, building on its refrigeration and ventilation lines available in 1000 colors.

BlueStar is another American family-owned company based out of Pennsylvania.

Steve Trulaske, CEO & Owner of True Refrigeration

Steve Trulaske is the owner of the world's largest family-owned American commercial refrigeration company.

He has developed a unique line of residential refrigeration with colors, glass doors, and commercial refrigeration with a soft design edge.

Anne Puricelli, Vice President of Marketing for Middleby Residential

Anne is the Vice President of Marketing for Middleby Residential, which owns La Cornue, the artisan French kitchen brand and the range of choice in the best kitchens in the world.

La Cornue is French-built but American-owned, which is a unique dynamic.

Jennifer Bradley, Vice President of Product Management of Fisher & Paykel

Known for its double-drawer dishwasher, Fisher & Paykel manufactures some of the unique luxury appliances in the world.

The Luxury Brand Summit webinar lasted one hour and covered the best new products, trends, and how smaller family-owned companies thrive against huge conglomerates like Samsung.

This webinar will give you a better idea of the best appliances and trends for your kitchen design.

Three of these companies are family-owned.  I thought the most interesting part of the webinar was what they had to say about competing with much larger companies.
