February 16th-18th, all decorative lighting at Yale is marked down 10-20% including pendants, chandeliers, sconces, and outdoor fixtures.

Chandeliers

The average size of a chandelier is 22-26” wide depending on your table and room. This can vary based on your personal preference. Chandeliers should not be your only light source in a room, but part of the overall lighting plan.

Sconces

Sconces are good complimentary lights. Want good bathroom lighting? Mount two at 65-68 inches tall on either side of the mirror. This way you can highlight both sides of your face and prevent shadowing so you can shave or apply makeup more consistently.

Pendants

Pendants have become popular with the rise of larger kitchen islands. You typically place 2-4 pendants over an island for consistent lighting. You can hang a pendant over a nook or smaller space as well.
