The Best Dishwashers To Buy Right Now (Reviews/Ratings)

I am partial to brands that deliver on their promise. That promise could be value, price or quality. Hopefully, a combination of all three is best. Rebates play a part as always, as a dishwasher can look way better for a few hundred less.

Frigidaire has been a perennial favorite of mine for price. Their new dishwashers feature an orbital cleaning system and a price increase of over $150. In my opinion, you will like these better.

I normally count down by favorites, but this list is by price:

Bosch is more widely represented than usual due to rebates

I used to recommend the Frigidaire at $399, but now thats $549 and the Bosch is $399 after $150 in rebates. The Bosch adds a metal tank (plastic bottom) and greater efficiency.

I really like this dishwasher. This is the start of the all stainless Bosch dishwashers. Door is heavier as well and it is only $50 more than the basic Bosch.

You have more style choices with hidden or integrated controls. This unit after rebates is the least expensive integrated dishwasher on the market and has a stainless tank and great water efficiency.

Jenn-Air and KitchenAid are the same unit, and it is still a decent dishwasher with grinder at the bottom, unlike the Bosch filter and more features.

miele stainless steel dishwasher G4205SCMiele G4205SC - $899 in color, $999 stainless.

Miele actually decreased their prices over the last 6 months. I appreciate Miele as 96% of this dishwasher is directly manufactured in their German facility. In fact, the only parts in a Miele dishwasher not manufactured by Miele are the rollers under the baskets. Such uncompromising quality makes a better dishwasher with fewer service calls and a 20 year life expectancy.

This dishwasher has an actual drying cycle (then again it should). This dishwasher lets air into the outer tub where the steam becomes attracted and dissipates against the colder wall. It also employs two fans to further dissipate air.

The G5155SC has a "turbo" function or faster wash cycle using concentrated water for a 30% faster wash. Miele also has the third cutlery rack as well, and plate guard plus or a racking system to protect fine china or crystal.
