Bosch vs Miele dishwashers is probably the best comparison of two truly great products. There are two of the four most reliable brands in the industry with dishwashers being their distinctive competence.
Which one is best?
Bosch SHE55C05UC: Bosch was really the first mass European dishwasher in the marketplace. The Bosch dishwasher is known for being super quiet, water-efficient and fairly affordable. This model has 5 main cycles and is $749 after rebate.
Miele G2183SCVI: Miele is the most unique appliance manufacturer in the world. As I have previously written, Miele manufactures every component in this dishwasher themselves except for the rollers under the basket. Thus, they are the least repaired unit in the industry.
Other distinctive features include:
In some ways, Miele is similar to Bosch. They are both European, employ a filter and are super quiet. However, Bosch manufactures their dishwashers in the USA with a cheaper dollar, but Miele still produces almost every part in Germany at a higher cost.
Although Miele is technically better, Bosch is almost $800 cheaper.
