The luxury appliance segment encompasses more appliances yet fewer brands than ever. Your idea of luxury may differ from mine. A built-in kitchen with wall ovens differs from a professional range, so it is difficult to choose just 5 packages.
In the luxury segment, you can expect counter depth, professional or integrated refrigerators, convection ovens, built-ins, induction power or pro gas as well as integrated dishwashers. Brands include Dacor, Sub-Zero/Wolf, Jenn-Air, Bosch, Miele, Gaggenau, and Thermador. Samsung and Electrolux have a few pieces for the luxury segment. You would think just the opposite, but the luxury manufacturers seem to rebate the heaviest. Thermador and Jenn-Air, for example, have rebates as well as free dishwashers and hoods with qualifying purchases.
There are tons of options. You can also create your own as well. Following are the most popular or most heavily rebated.
Pricing updated for February, 2017
Electrolux Pro Kitchen Package
What you will like about Electrolux is its clean, modern style (especially if you have a clean, modern kitchen). The refrigerator is huge at 28 cubic feet (not counter depth), but the range has more cooking modes and the over-the-range hood is both convection and microwave.
Jenn-Air Professional Plus Kitchen Package
$7,396 Gas after $1,500 in rebates
Like the Bosch / Thermador combination below, this package is great way to buy a professional kitchen for less money. This package has a counter depth refrigerator versus a regular full depth for the Bosch/Thermador.
The range is excellent with two 20,000 BTU burners, dual convection and self-cleaning. The dishwasher is integrated and quiet. I also like the high CFM hood.
