Most of the time when I compare models in different articles, there is no clear “best” option. However, there are details important in kitchens to consider. If you are paneling a dishwasher (or any other appliance), you do not want it aesthetically protruding past the cabinets. It ruins the look of the kitchen to see the side. You would be better off buying it in stainless steel.
When you consider the many paneled dishwashers, this one Bosch is by far the best option. In the following video, I will tell you why.
This particular Bosch 800 series dishwasher is one of the best options if you want to place a panel on your dishwasher. Let's discover why.
First, we always recommend a European style dishwasher if you want panels. Brands like Bosch, Miele, and Asko are less deep and do not protrude from the cabinets, so you can’t tell the difference between the dishwasher and the cabinet itself.
Of the three brands, Bosch tends to be more affordable than Miele or Asko with similar features.
In terms of cycles, you have all the most popular like heavy, normal, delicate, and rinse only, as well as a sanitize option for removing baked on stains with hotter water.
There are a couple of new cycles like Eco which decreases time and temperature for lightly soiled silverware and a 30 minute Express wash for glasses.
The inside has great loading capability with the third rack for silverware. This leaves room inside the dishwasher for other items.
The top rack adjusts a number of different ways to maximize space in both racks.
At 44 decibels, this dishwasher is extremely quiet, so quiet that it has a red infolight shining on the floor to remind you that it is on.
Bosch, along with Miele, is the most reliable brands you can buy.
Why You Should Consider This Machine
The first reason you should buy a European machine is because it does not protrude from the cabinet.
When you step up in Bosch, however, you are essentially buying a 2 decibel quieter dishwasher for $300 more. You probably won’t even notice the difference. Most paneled dishwashers from Asko and Miele are at least $200-$300 more, with fewer features.
This dishwasher, on the other hand, has the right combination of features and quietness for under $900. It may seem expensive, but it’s very competitive for a dishwasher that accepts panels.
